I. Piazza San Carlo

Piazza San Carlo mi colpisce per la sua bellezza: le sue linee armoniose si susseguono da un lato all’altro esprimendo una spettacolare grandiosità.
Ma amo anche l’eleganza e l’equilibrio delle sue forme: uno stile che si irradia nella città e nello spirito di chi in questa piazza si riconosce.

II. Piazzetta Maria Teresa

Questa piazza è un posto intimo, romantico.
Di giorno risuonano le voci allegre dei bambini che giocano,
ma al calare della sera la Piazzetta diventa luogo di incontro,
luogo di baci furtivi tra giovani innamorati.

III. Porta Palazzo

Per me questa piazza è sempre stata sinonimo di mercato, di scambio,
di caleidoscopio di colori, di cose e di persone.
Ora mi sembra il centro di una città che si sta velocemente trasformando: qui si intrecciano le lingue, gli usi e i costumi delle culture di tutto il mondo.

San Carlo Square strikes me for its beauty: the harmony of its  features slowly unfold  from one end of the square to the other expressing spectacular grandiosity.
Yet, I also love its elegance as well as the balance of its shapes:  a style which glows in the city  and in the spirit of those who identify themselves in this square.

II. Piazzetta Maria Teresa

This square is an  intimate and romantic place.
During the day, the happy voices of  children playing can be heard,
but in the evening the little square becomes a meeting place,
a place for hidden kisses between young lovers.

III. Porta Palazzo

To me, this square has always signified a market, an exchange,
a kaleidoscope of colors, of things and people.
Now it appears to be the center of a city which is rapidly changing: a melting pot of languages and traditions of cultures from all around the world.
